Palace Of Versailles To Open Luxury Hotel and Restaurant
The iconic royal building will be transformed by a Michelin-starred chef
Eat and live like royalty, that’s the dream right?
Well it might not be too far away for us all.
Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse is to undertake the mammoth project to transform France’s Palace of Versailles into a lavish new hotel and restaurant.
According to Women’s Wear Daily Ducasse and his company Lov Hotel Collection have been commissioned to transform an ensemble of three building called the Grand Controle, the Petit Controle and the Pavillon de premieres cent marches, situated next to the palace’s Orangerie.
With plans to be open by 2018, the renovations are expected to cost close to $16 million in-keeping with the Versaille’s opulent surroundings.
We’re pretty sure this is just another excuse for us to visit France’s glorious country.
